Have you ever heard of cryptic pregnancy? According to media.net, this is the phenomenon whereby women become aware of their pregnancy only during the last weeks of gestation.
Viola Daisy, like any mother, was excited when she finally gave birth to her son Jayden in 2018.
She envisioned an enjoyable, busy but still rewarding trip for the next few months or years before she could consider thinking about baby number two.
But, after her cesarean, a series of problems forced the 22-year-old to have another surgery.
Weeks after her procedure, Viola began to experience severe pain whenever she had her monthly period.
But she shrugged them like cracks that might go away when the time to bleed was up.
But on this occasion, her period continued and the pain was too unbearable.
“I bled and didn’t go to the hospital, but I remember suffering a lot and losing weight during that time,” she told Nation Africa.
Viola continued to go to work despite her discomfort, and her neighbor and colleagues began to notice that her body was slowly withering.
“My neighbor told me to go to the hospital because it was dangerous to bleed for a week,” she said.
The mother-of-two who finally visited the doctor after six months of intermittent bleeding was shocked when the doctor informed her that she was pregnant.
In his mind, that must have been impossible. Mom’s stomach was flat and she had never felt a kick or spin in her stomach.
She eventually gave birth to her child later and now it’s a big boy that serves as Viola’s reason to appreciate the beauty of Second Chances.
