The league Griezmann and Joao Felix will enter the club's history books
TThe summer of 2019 will be anything but business as usual in the offices of the Estadio Wanda Metropolitano that work continues to rebuild the Atletico Madrid team before the next season.
Lucas Hernandez was the first player to confirm his exit, Bayern Munich 80 million euros some time ago, while a single addition has been confirmed for 20 million euros of signature Felipe Monteiro.
The club expects more business and this could create new records, with Joao Felix be tied to what would be the club's most expensive signature if Benfica insist that Los Rojiblancos pay the unlock clause of 120 million euros reserved for the young man of 19 years.
This same fee will be how much Antoine Griezmann will cost Barcelona when his release clause drops to that price on July 1, setting the club record for their most lucrative sale of all time.
Atletico are particularly focused on a key agreement this summer: Joao Felix.
Should he join Los Rojiblancos, it would beat the 72 million euros that Atleti paid to sign 70 percent of the rights of Thomas Lemar of Monaco last summer.
Both players would line up side by side, as well as the Club's third most expensive addition, Diego Costaand maybe even the fifth, Vitolo.
The top 10 is complemented by the likes of Radamel Falcao, who has more than justified his fees, and Jackson Martinez, which was a spectacular failure.
Kevin Gameiro, Griezmann, Nico Gaitan, Sergio Aguero and Diego Forlan also in the club's top scorers list, though not all of them have reached such highs as Gameiro and Gaitan prove.
Lucas Hernandez is the club's current record sale at 80 million euros, but his reign will last just a few months after his replacement Falcao with this coat, which is gone for Monaco in a contract of 45 million euros.
Griezmann will top the list at 120 million euros, although the others to be in the top 10 are colleagues Aguero, Jackson, Costa and Fernando Torres.
Arda Turan, Theo Hernandez and David de Gea add to the list but should Rodri Hernandez Starting with his 70 million euro unlock clause, he would become the fifth local player in the top 10 sales and enter the third place.
