Chelsea fans can start planning their next season with the 2019/20 Premier League matches released Thursday morning.
The Blues will start the campaign away from home for the second year in a row with a tough trip to Manchester United on the agenda.
While in the past, fans had to wait until early July to know what games would be televised, it was revealed that the match at Old Trafford would take place on Sunday, August 11 at 16:30.
Chelsea will then face Leicester City the following week at Stamford Bridge. The matches against the newly promoted cities, Norwich City and Sheffield United, complete the first month of the season.
The legendary Chelsea, Frank Lampard, is the big favorite of the return to West London.
The 40-year-old really made a big impression in his first season at Derby County. Indeed, he led his team to victory over Manchester United with a shootout victory in the Carabao Cup at Old Trafford.
Given rumors that the former midfielder is expected to return to Chelsea and that he will face the Red Devils on opening day, supporters predict an excellent campaign start at the Theater of Dreams.
Here's what Chelsea fans had to say on Twitter about their opening match.
