Latest transfer rumors from Chelsea: Blink eye, a case of Coutinho, Fekir lets slip a clue, the defender ready to leave

There are only 11 days left in the January transfer window – and there could still be a lot of activity when it comes to Chelsea.

The Blues have already recruited Christian Pulisic this month, the American international being loaned to Borussia Dortmund for the rest of the season, before joining his new teammates this summer.

But there are speculations on several entries and exits, including Gonzalo Higuain, whose arrival on a loan is imminent.

Below we look at the latest transfer rumors regarding possible entries and exits to Chelsea this month.

The Blues "make contact" with Barcelona about Coutinho

The Daily Express reports that Chelsea asked Barcelona about the availability of former Liverpool ace, Philippe Coutinho.

The Brazilian is struggling to gain time this season. Coutinho fell in disorder at Nou camp. Ousmane Dembele often preferred him.

And reports suggest that Barcelona could consider releasing Coutinho for around 100 million pounds, with Manchester United among the clubs having been linked to a move for the 26-year-old.

The Express, however, said that Chelsea had asked Barcelona to keep them informed if they were considering selling Coutinho, while he was in a hurry to make things work in Spain.

Online defender for the return to Italy

Davide Zappacosta has found his chances limited to Stamford Bridge this season. The 26-year-old has played only ten times in all competitions for the Blues.

And reports in Italy suggest that he could be ready to make his return to his homeland, Lazio being eager to sign the agreement.

Reports suggest that Lazio will request a loan agreement, with the option of making the move permanent in summer, if it wishes.

Fekir lets guess a hint in the middle of a conversation

Nabil Fekir is a player linked to a move to England for some time.

And he fueled discussions about a move to Chelsea after hinting in an interview with The Progres (via GFFN) that the Blues were watching him.

Asked whether or not he was in his last year at Groupama Stadium, he said, "I do not know.

"Last year was supposed to be my last and in the end I'm still here.

"I can not know the answer to this question.

"I am happy in Lyon, but which player does not dream to discover a new league, another club?"

And that made Chelsea fans talk, as Blues fans were eager to see them sign the player, who was also very close to Liverpool this summer.

"No doubt" about Hazard's future

Eden Hazard has been badociated with a move to Real Madrid and reports in Spain suggest that he "is getting closer" to his next signing under a marquee this summer.

The Belgian international still has 18 months to his contract, but the Spanish publication Marca reports that there is no doubt that he wants to settle in the Spanish capital.

Hazard himself fears for his future, suggesting that he keeps his options open, but as Madrid wishes to fill the void left by Cristiano Ronaldo's departure to Juventus last summer, it is understood that they will intensify their attempts to sign it in the weeks and months to come.

Higuain last

The main subject of recent days has been the imminent arrival of Gonzalo Higuain, and it seems that it is close.

It has been reported that he is in London to complete his move and although he did not sign in time to face Arsenal last night (Saturday), the Argentine should be announced in the next days to meet with Maurizio Sarri, who worked with in Napoli.
