After being canceled in 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Laver Cup will return in September, pitting the best players in Europe against the best players in the rest of the world.
Three editions of the tournament have taken place in the past, with Team Europe winning all three.
Australian Nick Kyrgios will be part of Team World again, having participated in all other tournaments in 2017, 2018 and 2019.

WHAT IS THE WASH CUP?
The Laver Cup is a two-team tournament, played over three days. It is designed to be the tennis version of the Ryder Cup.
Each team will consist of six players and the tournament will feature nine singles matches and three doubles matches.
A win on the first day is worth one point, each win on the second day will be worth two points, and wins on the last day are worth three points.
The first team to reach 13 points wins the tournament.
WHEN IS THE WASH CUP 2021?
This year’s Laver Cup will run from September 24-26.
The tournament will originate from Boston, USA.

LAVER CUP 2021 TEAMS
Each team will have six players and a captain.
The Europe squad will be led by Bjorn Borg and feature six ATP top 10 players, including US Open champion Daniil Medvedev.
Team World will be chaired by John McEnroe and will feature Australia’s Nick Kyrgios as well as players from Canada, the United States and Argentina.
