The Parliament of Ghana has ordered the General Legal Council (GLC) to reduce the reinstatement fee of the Ghana School of Law from the current figure of 3,000 GHS to 500 GHS.

Parliament also urged the GLC to reopen the re-marking window to allow students who could not request re-marking to do so.

This follows the report of the Committee on Constitutional, Legal and Parliamentary Affairs of Parliament (CLPAC) on a petition from professional law students.

In this petition, the students requested a review of the results of the 2017/2018 exam.

Adom News parliamentary correspondent announced in Parliament that CLPAC President Ben Abdallah Banda had stated in his directive that the GLC should also provide GSL students and professors with marking systems. and reports from reviewers.
