A video surfaced Sunday night on Twitter to show the winning streak of defending champion James Holzhauer on the verge of completion. The episode is supposed to be aired Monday night.
In the video minute, Holzhauer and his competitor Emma Boettcher correctly answer the Final Jeopardy question, but Boettcher wins the win after wagering more money.
Holzhauer bet an unusually low amount – just $ 1399 – bringing his total play to $ 24,799. Boettcher, on the other hand, is betting $ 20,201 on the issue, giving him a total of $ 46,801.
On the video, we can see Holzhauer give Boettcher a high-five.
Holzhauer seemed to confirm the loss on Twitter by writing "I knew I should not have invited Drake to register on Jeopardy".
