CASSELTON, ND – Health officials in North Dakota said three people had contracted legionnaires' disease from a water park for hotels in Cbadelton.
The three people became ill between July and January and reported spending some time at the Days Inn of Cbadelton.
The Ministry of Health says anyone who has spent time at the hotel this month and who has fallen ill should consult a doctor.
Legionnaires are a type of pneumonia caused by Legionella bacteria. Symptoms include fever, fatigue, headache, muscle aches, chills, shortness of breath, loss of appetite and coughing. Ten cases were reported in the state last year.
