Emaar Properties has partnered with the LEGO group to unveil the Burj Khalifa Architecture Series model, the tallest building in the world.

On this occasion, a 2.7-meter model of Burj Khalifa, built from 141,971 unlined LEGO bricks, will be on display at the Dubai Mall's Atrium until May 29, 2011.

The Burj Khalifa model was designed by architect Adam Reed Tucker, one of 13 LEGO certified professionals. It is available at At the Top Store, Burj Khalifa until its imminent global launch.

Tucker said, "As an artist in architecture, my desire is to capture the essence of a particular architectural monument in its pure sculptural form. I do not see my models as literal replicas, but rather as my own artistic interpretations through the use of LEGO bricks as a medium. "
