Unai Emery's side was washed away by the first whistle. They have never been at the height of a Leicester team transformed under Brendan Rodgers. Jamie Vardy scored two goals while Leicester overtook Arsenal, but Yuri Tielemans – who had opened the scoring – and James Maddison were gorgeous in the middle of the field.

Pereira slips into the surface, slipping the ball through the goal, on a plate to allow Vardy to finish the job. A beautiful goal.

90 + 3 min: Harvey Barnes makes almost three! Leicester worked very well, Vardy slid in the front but he could not put the icing on the cake. Leicester fought back from outside his own field, with Maddison playing Vardy, who moved away from substitute Guendouzi. Barnes had a guto, giving Vardy an option and quickly scored on goal, before Leno was saved with his legs.

87 min: Arsenal wins a free kick on the signing. Xhaka bads him but Jonny Evans sends him back from where he came from. Harry Maguire cancels the second delivery with a skinned head.

This is the definition of the road one. Jamie Vardy ensures points. Schmeichel hits a big right ball at the back of the field, he eliminates Koscielny and Mustafi, and Vardy – of course – takes it off willingly; the attacker does not believe his luck. Vardy fights one-on-one with Leno, slips him over … but shakes the crossbar. When he bounces on the wood, Vardy crushes the rebound.

82 min: Arsenal wins a corner. Xhaka was badping into a dangerous ball, Mustafi inadvertently tipping Nketiah's direction offside before Leicester smuggled the ball. Chilwell slammed Torreira, allowing Arsenal to return the ball.

81 min: Albrighton finds Vardy in the box, but he can not lead him home! Sokratis also touched his strike, which caused Leno some grief before meeting.

79 min: Eddie Nketiah replaces Lacazette. And Hamza Choudhury is retired for Leicester, with Nampalys Mendy.

71 min: Lucas Torreira falls into the penalty box and Arsenal supporters launch an unqualified call for a penalty. Jonny Evans has examined Uruguay's midfield and nothing more. Good defense. Emery suggests to the fourth manager that Evans nudged Torreira. Wishful thinking.

69 min: Leicester takes a step forward on the counter – he's four against two, "but Tielemans can not spot Vardy or Chilwell, who had stripped off at the last post." Arsenal returns, with Chilwell cutting Sokratis halfway. A repeat of this Arsenal corner a moment ago shows how Sokratis accused Schmeichel, leading with his boot, which does not look good, that's for sure.

67 min: Barnes is well connected to Vardy, who buys a corner in Sokratis. Mustafi and he received the runaround – again. Maddison bads the ball but Barnes inadvertently heads into the box as he lowers to meet him. Can Arsenal elicit any response? Torreira goes down the other side and wins a corner.

64 min: Sokratis is penalized by a foul on Maddison, 25 meters away. And Michael Oliver gives Unai Emery a severe derision on the sideline. Maddison, who played for Tielemans, fears a free kick on the free kick, as does the scorer.

49 min: Barnes flies to the left and beats Mustafi. He tries to score goals but Leno is at the front row.

48 min: The first contribution of Harvey Barnes is to buy a Sokratis corner. Maddison directs her to Slabhead and his teammates, but Arsenal clears their lines. Arsenal – already – are firmly on the back foot. Barnes then takes a little joy against Mustafi.

47 min: Pereira and Tielemans combine beautifully, the first superbly superimposed. The ball is slightly brought to the outside of the surface, where James Maddison tries to sneak. He is lucky at first, but ends up being cluttered.

The ten men of Arsenal survive until the end of the break, but for how long can they still fend off Leicester? 41 min: Maddison fires a smart ball down the ground for Vardy, who rushes to the fertile rearguard occupied by Mkhitaryan. In fact, Aubameyang ends up coming back to help.

37 min: If Sokratis looked tired before this expulsion, the Arsenal defense should be even more difficult. Henrikh Mkhitaryan has at least a moment decided to turn around and Leicester continues to investigate discreetly and patiently.
