Congregations at Minister Sakumono Distrist of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG)
Pastor Sakumono Distrist of the Presbyterian Church of Ghana (PCG), Reverend Emmanuel Obeng Ntow, advised Christians to question Jesus' resurrection power and allow him to revive their belief that the victory over death made them more than conquerors.
He preached Sunday at the Hope congregation of the PCG during a religious service in commemoration of Easter Sunday, the day of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In a crowded auditorium with worshipers dressed in white to signify victory over death, they (the congregation) sang and danced in praise and glory of the risen Jesus.
Reverend Obeng Ntow said that the resurrection of Christ meant a new life for Christians.
He said that the resurrection was the cornerstone of the Christian faith, adding that if it had not been a reality, there would have been no Christian faith.
He described the resurrection as the greatest miracle of the Bible and the greatest fact of history.
Reverend Obeng Ntow said the resurrection of Jesus made the life of the Christian beyond the grave certain, pointing out that the resurrection had allowed all those who trust in the Lord to live forever.
