President Akufo-Addo spoke at the opening session of a conference bringing together Ghanaian scientists, technologists, engineers and innovators at Peduase, near Aburi, in the eastern region.
The one-day conference was organized by the Ghana Engineering Institution in collaboration with MESTI, with the support of the Mastercard Foundation, an international philanthropic organization.
The President reiterated that his vision of a Ghana Beyond Aid was to build a strong and strong economy, capable of generating a prosperous and dignified existence for the people, banning the specter of poverty and making Ghana autonomous and less dependent technologies and the influence of foreign capital. .

Machine tool centers
The government will set up an advanced machine tool computer center in Accra and Kumasi to manufacture tools, equipment and other instruments to support key sectors of the economy, such as 39, agriculture and manufacturing.
