Kylian Mbappe and Edinson Cavani made badists as Ligue 1 leader Paris St-Germain scored nine goals ahead of Guingamp for a record-breaking victory.

He overtook PSG's previous heaviest win at Parc des Princes – 8-0 against Dijon last year.

Their best win remains a 10-0 victory of the Coupe de France on the Coupe de France in 1994.

Neymar also scored twice, while Thomas Meunier scored a late goal against the bottom of the league.

The revenge of PSG on the exit of the Coupe de France

Ten days ago, Guingamp knocked out PSG by beating him 2-1 in Paris to reach the semi-finals of the Coupe de France.

But a similar shock never took place on Saturday as the national team took control from the start.

Neymar opened the scoring in the 11th minute at the top of the net before turning to the supplier for Mbappe, who led the match in the bottom corner for his first game of the match.

Mbappe again scored to net shortly after, when he jumped on permission from Felix Eboa to win 3-0 at the break.

PSG did not score again before the hour indicated by Cavani's return to the center of Juan Bernat, before the Uruguayan took the lead for Angel di Maria.

Goalkeeper Marc-Aurele Caillard scored two goals. Neymar then scored two goals. The latter was then the first to complete his triple by regrouping the ball.

Mbappe's third place came soon after, with a point blank finish, and Guingamp's misery was total when Meunier scored nine goals in the 83rd minute.
