Billy Ray Cyrus, Lil Nas X's Old Town Road, set a new record in the Billboard Hot 100 in America, claiming an unprecedented 17th week at No. 1.
Old Town Road exceeds the previous 16-week record held jointly by Boyz II's One Sweet Day for men in 1995/96 and Despacito by Luis Fonsi, Daddy Yankee and Justin Bieber in 2017.
Delivering the album to Lil Nas X, Mariah, title holder for 23 years, tweeted: "Send a message of love to @LilNasX for beating one of the oldest records in the world. We were fortunate enough to have this record with a song that counts a lot for @BoyzIIMen and myself and has touched a lot, keep living your best life! "
