NASHVILLE, Tennessee – Lil Nas X seems determined to let people sing her song.
The rapper has released a new version of his global hit No. 1.
The new official remix of "Old Town Road" features viral singer / jodeler Mason Ramsey and young hip-hop heavyweight Young Thug, alongside Nas and Billy Ray Cyrus.
The original remix featuring Cyrus, the country star, is now the oldest single of Hot 100 hip-hop and the first song in history to sell for 10 million copies, while remaining the number one on Billboard, according to the X label.
Lil Nas X Old Town Road Comes First
The clip has been viewed more than 200 million times since its release in May.
"Old Town Road" initially became viral as a clip of less than 2 minutes on the TikTok app, where users create and share videos configured on music.
The song sparked controversy after being a hit in the national charts and then removed by Billboard as being too hip-hop and not country enough.
Lil Nas X released his first EP, "7", on Columbia Records on June 21st.
The EP contains 6 new songs, including the single "Panini", which went directly to the top spot of Spotify's Top 200 US Chart on its release.

The next day, the rapper closed the month of pride by saying that he was gay.
