LinkedIn announced today that advertisers can now target their members with relevant ads based on their business interests. For example, if you have shared articles related to artificial intelligence, advertisers offering products and services related to artificial intelligence can now specifically target members like you. LinkedIn will support more than 200 categories of professional interests.
With interest targeting, you can:
- Post relevant ads and content that fit the professional interests of a member. Interest-based targeting can help you shape brand perception among different audiences by connecting your brand to the topics of interest. For example, if you sell cloud computing services, you can target members interested in "cloud computing" and create a campaign with sponsored content ads that show how your solution helps businesses to optimize their data.
- Strengthen your influence with the buyers committee in your target accounts. Today, many of our customers use LinkedIn's powerful account targeting to inform their account-based marketing campaigns. You can now move up a gear by using account targeting and interest targeting to reach an audience of potential buyers who have already expressed, or are likely to manifest, interest in relevant content for your business.
- Join people interested in a certificate program. You can also use a combination of degrees and interests to reach audiences that would naturally fit into higher education programs.
This new interest targeting feature will be available to all advertisers in the coming week. You can learn more about this feature from the source link below.
