Lisa Armstrong thanks Piers Morgan for criticizing Ant McPartlin's "offensive" interview

Lisa Armstrong turned to social media to thank Piers Morgan for her support after attacking her ex-husband, Ant McPartlin.

The host of Good Morning Britain had a few less than friendly words for Ant after his revealing interview in which he called Anne-Marie Corbett "rock" and blamed Lisa for having liked the tweets about grief.

Discuss Ant's claims that he was "at the best place [he’s] already been in [his] Piers added: "I think there is another person involved in all of this, who is Lisa, whom I know well and who, I imagine, suffers a lot."

In addressing social media to convey her appreciation to Piers – who praised her as "a charming woman" – Lisa responded with three emojis from the kiss.

This is not the first time Lisa expresses her feelings subtly in Ant's interview – it's the first time he's done since being put into rehab to tackle his addiction to last year.

While she has not yet said a single word to the media about her ex, she "liked" a tweet that said, "@lisaAmakeup, how can we say you do not? Have not been worthy …? At least, you're not the one who sells an exclusive interview to a newspaper for a small number of bob takes the dog and launches all the love x (sic). "

She also "liked" another article that said, "I am so uncomfortable with all the bursting of the new love of the ant that has" saved "it.

"Okay, okay – but so disrespectful to Lisa Armstrong who had to endure the worst ant for so many years." Short memory (sic).

In the interview with Ant, he accused Lisa of being "everywhere" since their break up, adding that he had chosen to remain silent because blabbing was not his "style".

While doing a search at his ex, he continued, "She can live her life as she wants and say what she wants, but I prefer to keep it private."

However, Piers was not impressed by Ant's interview as it appeared in the newspapers: "I always find it funny that people say" I've never been so happy, "while they're married for 20 years, it's a bit like, would you say that?

"I do not think I would say anything like that, because A, I do not think it's always true. If you marry someone, you are obviously incredibly happy at the time of your wedding, is not it?

He added, "It's a bit hurtful, no."

The Saturday night take-away star publicly announced her relationship with PA-Anne Anne-Marie just months after announcing her separation from Lisa after 23 years together.

Anne-Marie then remained alongside Ant when he took ten months off to focus on his sobriety last year, which means he missed the final of the series "Got Talent" and that I am a celebrity in autumn.
