List of DGA Awards Winners: All 2019 Directors Guild Awards Winners

[ad_1]

The 71st Annual Guild of America Awards Ceremony will be held on Saturday, February 2nd. Rewards will be awarded in 11 categories of films and television channels.

Alfonso Cuaron is the big favorite to win his second feature, DGA Award for "Roma", which would put him in the corresponding Oscar since the two bodies have never disagreed that seven times in 70 years. He previously won both awards for "Gravity" (2013). Spike Lee ("BlacKkKlansman") is in second place of our chances and would be the first black winner in the history of the DGA.

Last year, Cuaron's friend Guillermo del Toro brought home the DGA and Oscar for "The Shape of Water".
