Kennedy Agyapong, MP of the Assin Central Parliament and leader of the funding, should not be held responsible for the murder of investigative journalist Ahmed Hussein.Suale despite revealing his identity on national television.

he BBC interviewer Thomas Naadi posed the question of knowing he had contributed to Ahmed's death as "hogwash", saying the journalist should "ask intelligent questions".

"The motive behind the broadcast of these images was to warn Ghanaians of this type when they will come to their homes because that's what they do," the lawmaker said.

Mr. Agyapong also sympathized with the family of the murdered journalist, adding that Ahmed was exposed to many dangers because of the nature of his work.
