The litecoin [LTC] The current community has decided to adopt its new light blue logo in a move that, he hopes, will mark a change in the fortune of the struggling stablecoin. The logo, which was first seen at UFC232 after the Litecoin Foundation's sponsorship agreement with the Ultimate Fighting Championship, apparently appealed to many users of the Litecoin database, many of whom want it to be adopted more widely.
The new light blue logo, designed by the Australia-based design agency, The Tokens Agency, will be unrestricted use-free, in line with the open-source nature of the Litecoin platform, announced by the 39, intermediate its channel Medium. The vocal support for the new logo may have been a surprise to some, as the logo in question was originally intended to highlight a branding on a background of a gray UFC ring. Robbie Coleman, founder of Token's Agency, said this about the project,
"Users and owners of Litecoin, we wanted to apply the skills of our creative agency to LTC in one way or another. Drawing for the decentralized room – and all the complexity that comes with it – also seemed a daunting challenge, some creative agencies have embarked. "
Mr. Coleman also added that the end product was the result of months of inquiries and critical comments received from the active community of Reddit Litecoin. Many members of the community were found to support a new brand and image for Litecoin by highlighting key elements such as "Speed" and "Confidence".
Litecoin is not the first cryptocurrency to try to reinvent itself with a new logo. Earlier this month, the Bitcoin SV logo was redesigned to better reflect the original vision of Satoshi and the root of the badociation. Last June, XRP changed logo in order to change brands after the previous logo was compared to a fidget.
