Vice President Mahamudu Bawumia said Ghanaians must live in harmony, regardless of their religious or political affiliation, to ensure sustainable development.
In a Facebook post on Good Friday, he congratulated Christians on commemorating Easter.
He wished the Christians good luck and encouraged them to pray for the country.
"My family and I wish our Christian brothers and sisters a happy Easter."
"In commemorating this special holiday that marks the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, we encourage all to continue to pray for the country, to live in harmony with each other and to do our best to help Ghana become the beloved land we all want to live in. " he said.
The Vice President also wished all Ghanaians a successful holiday and prayed for the blessing of God for Ghana.
