With his name engraved among the greatest players wearing the shirt of Chelsea, Eden Hazard will be unveiled Thursday as a Real Madrid player at Santiago Bernabeu.

After joining Lille in 2012, Hazard spent 110 years in Chelsea. He then scored 110 goals in 352 games. He lost in the final victory of the Europa League on Blues against Arsenal.

According to MARCA, Madrid began its strategic approach in 2017 with Juni Calafat, head of international football, and right-hand man, Jose Angel Sanchez, at the negotiations.
The latter has drawn up a plan comprising three years of conversations described by MARCA as "informal, legal but intentional", while Zinedine Zidane played his role, himself a great admirer of Hazard's talents since the Lille era.
