Joel Matip has given Liverpool a major boost by returning to full training ahead of the weekend’s clash with Manchester United.
Matip was among those pictured as the Reds were put to the test in Kirkby on Friday in preparation for Sunday’s game at Anfield.

Another notable presence in Kirkby was Kostas Tsimikas, who has not played since a Champions League knee injury in rubber who died at FC Midtjylland on December 9.
