Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp congratulates James Milner on "dirty talk"

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp offered a complimentary tribute to James Milner as the midfielder continues to impress.

The 33-year-old has worked hard in practice during the pre-season so far and some pictures of him in excellent physical shape have even had fans who have praised the players extensively in the last 24 hours.

But this time it was Klopp's turn to usher in the kind words of the midfielder who continues to challenge his age.

Milner was a vital member of Liverpool's squad last season, after finishing second in the Premier League and winning the Champions League. It should become an essential cog.

Prior to his fifth season at Anfield, Milner was warmly congratulated by Klopp in an interview with the club's website.

Klopp identified Milner's "attitude" and "leadership" as the key to his success at the club. He also revealed that the English international had the gift of producing "dirty talks" that inspire his teammates.

"There have not been many players like him," Klopp told the Liverpool website.

"I've been lucky to have some players like this one. Sebastian Kehl, for example, in Dortmund was a more experienced player in a very young team and a leader in this team, like Millie.
