Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp praises his Manchester United counterpart Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on the eve of the huge Premier League clash.
The two rivals will face Old Trafford this weekend in a match that will have a significant impact on the Premier League race and the race to rank in the top four.
He continues a series of test matches for United after the shock of the Champions League with Paris Saint-Germain and the fight against the FA Cup with Chelsea, but the defeat against the champion of France remains his only loss since taking charge of the Red Devils.
This allowed many people to identify Solskjaer as the main candidate for the full-time position this summer. Klopp has now shared his thoughts on this, claiming that the legend of United deserved quality work.
"I am a leader myself and I know we are not magicians. It's not like we can come in and say, "You're not good, but I can make you really good!", He told Sky Sports.
"But we are lucky to have very good players around us and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer does a brilliant job.
"It's all about bringing out the potential of the team, improving the quality, and that's what he's obviously done, which makes him a coach for a great club.
"I did not know him, I met him once – I think, last year at a training match at La Manga, where he was with the same guy. Norwegian team, so we had a little discussion.
"It's a nice boy, that's for sure, and what he's done up to now is obviously brilliant."
