Kyle Walker was lucky enough to miss a red card in the first half of the Man City FA Cup semifinal against Brighton and Liverpool fans are not happy with that. Not for the first time.
Walker saw the ball out of the line on the goal line when Alireza Jahanbakhsh of Brighton put it under pressure and the couple fell to the ground.
At the time of their fall, it seemed that Jahanbakhsh was affixed on the back of Walker, which the right rear of the City had not taken too well.
He got up and found himself facing Jahanbakhsh and pushed him against the face of the Seagulls winger.
Arbitrator Antony Taylor was quickly ready to end the altercation and reserved Walker for his actions, but the decision returned to VAR.
The wait was tense, especially for Walker, as the call was verified by the video badistant referee, but he came to the conclusion that it was not a red card.
And Liverpool fans have used it to fight back against fans who claim to have been helped by the decisions of their referees.
Can not. Never.
