Liverpool FC vs Dortmund line up: Team News confirmed and start eleven scheduled

Jurgen Klopp warned Liverpool fans to expect a tough test as the Reds prepare to face Borussia Dortmund.

Klopp will still miss key men Mohamed Salah, Sadio Mane, Alison and Roberto Firmino for the pre-season American tour at Notre Dame stadium.

Mane will participate in the Africa Cup of Nations finals for Senegal on Friday night. The rest of the quartet of stars will benefit from a prolonged summer break due to international commitments.

Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri are injured outside, while new central defender Sepp Van den Berg is still waiting for FIFA to issue an international license to play.

In the preparations for the match, Klopp said about his selection options: "It will probably be a rather young team that will face a very good team, let's badume Borussia Dortmund changes the pace of 60-30 for the players, then just about every big gun will start tomorrow.

"And it will be a tough match.

"But as is always the case in football, even in a preparatory game, we play and we want to win.Last year, we tried the same thing. [against Dortmund in pre-season] and it did not work. It did not have a mbadive influence.

As for Dortmund, Manuel Akanji and Marcel Schmelzer will be absent due to injury, while Mahmoud Dahoud, Sergio Gomez Martin and Ashraf Hakimi will all be on break.
