Bayern Munich should be deprived of Kingsley Coman for his clash between Liverpool and the Champions League.
The champions of Germany will travel to Anfield for the first leg of the first leg of the last 16 weeks on Tuesday night.
Bayern were in action against Augsburg in trouble Friday night and were well below normal with a 3-2 win.
Coman was the star of the show for players Niko Kovac, who tied the score twice before the winner of David Alaba.
The 22-year-old, however, was injured in the left ankle during the last moments of the match, forcing Bayern to get out with 10 men.
It must be reviewed on Saturday, but Chief Kovac admitted that he was concerned that his injury would be serious.
Coman has already had left ankle problems and another dismissal seems likely.
"It sounds like another tendon problem," said the boss of Bayern.
"It's disappointing because with him we have a different dynamic, but we will know the results tomorrow."
Bayern are already without Arjen Robben and Thomas Muller for the shock of Tuesday night.
However, they were stimulated by the return of goalkeeper Manuel Neuer against Augsburg.
