Liverpool is interested in a contract with Wolves midfielder Ruben Neves in the summer.
According to the Portuguese newspaper O'Jogo, via the BBC, Liverpool is very fond of the talented midfielder.
Neves impressed in the Premier League for the Wolves this season and led them to an FA Cup semifinal, though they lost against Watford at Wembley last weekend.
The Portuguese midfielder joined the Wolves in the summer of 2017 and helped them win the championship, earning him the title of player of the year – the victory of Ryan Sessegnon of Fulham .
O'Jogo says Pep Lijnders, Liverpool's badistant, was impressed by Neves, which could get the club to act for him at the end of the season.
The 22-year-old has scored three goals and two midfield helpers for the Wolves in the Premier League this season.
Neves began his career in Porto, Portugal, where he played 97 first-team matches before joining the Wolves.
