Liverpool has announced its second signing of the summer in the form of Harvey Elliott, a Fulham teenager, according to reports.
Elliott's youth contract expired in Fulham last month and the Liverpool Echo says the Reds will seek an agreement this week to bring it to Anfield.
At 16 years and 30 days, Elliott became the youngest player in the Premier League to beat another former Fulham player, Matthew Briggs, who held the record at 16 years and 65 days.
This appearance has also drawn the attention of other clubs to his talent, while Liverpool is "on the verge of concluding a contract" with Elliott, who will then make another appearance to replace the Premier League before the end of the season.
the Echo adds that Liverpool "Consider using Harvey Elliott in the first team at Melwood" and "have no immediate plans to send Elliott to Kirkby Academy".
Real Madrid, Barcelona and Paris Saint-Germain all showed interest in Elliott, but the 16-year-old "grew up to support Liverpool".
The signature would be Second of the summer in Liverpool after that they signed another teenager Sepp van den Berg in June.
