Jurgen Klopp explains how he met the Liverpool fan and James Bond actor, Daniel Craig, how he keeps himself under cover and why you should not call his team's trip to Marbella for a holiday …

He has become one of football's most recognizable faces since taking office as Liverpool's manager, and the door has opened on Hollywood for Jurgen Klopp.

"Many famous actors are fans of Liverpool," says Klopp in an exclusive interview with Sky Germany.

He was a little shaken, not agitated, when a secret agent wanted to be introduced after a match at Liverpool's Anfield, however.

"Daniel Craig, who plays James Bond, wanted to meet me after a game in the shoe room," laughs Klopp. "Famous people are also normal people.

"It's a good guy and it's nice when James Bond wants to meet you."

Klopp's fame has attracted unwanted attention.

"I do not go to town just for games and training," he says. But it's not only since arriving in Merseyside.

"My life in Mainz was not like I could do what I wanted, I had to celebrate my bachelor party with a Santa Claus suit so I would not be recognized.

"In Dortmund, it was difficult too and in Liverpool it will not be any easier, it helps me that I prefer not to be outside."

Klopp's preference for the interior may be useful.

Liverpool's first team is in Marbella as she enjoys a 10-day break to prepare for the first leg of the Champions League last-leg tie against Bayern Munich on Tuesday, as the Klopp's team is already absent from the FA Cup.

But do not call it a vacation.

"First of all, it's not so hot," says Klopp. "We are here to focus on training and recovery.

"It's just a little different.We are only here for four days, it's not like we've been here for a very long time.It's four days, five sessions, a concentrated work. The boys can lie between the two, take a nap, the food is good – it's just perfect.

"We are making the most of this opportunity, it does not have much to do with the weather."

The former Bayern Munich player and Germany captain, winner of the World Cup, has already praised Klopp for his ability to make the most of the people around him.

Klopp plays the idiot when asked how he achieves this, "no idea, I can not say".

Instead, he emphasizes how important it is for him that "we use the time of life where we are together to make things better for ourselves, whether with family, with friends or with my team" .

This applies to everyone at the club.

"We have about 80 people on Melwood's training ground," Klopp said.

"We took these 80 people, together with their families, on holiday in Tenerife, together with their team and myself, twice, which contributes to the feeling of solidarity."

When asked if Matthaus's likeable personality was a gift, Klopp admits it must be because "I do not know how it works".

"I like being a good guy, but I'm not always nice," he says. Maybe it's another disguise.
