Liverpool reportedly had talks with Callum's agent Hudson-Odoi about a possible summer change.
Hudson-Odoi still wants to leave Stamford Bridge after Bayern Munich tried to sign it in January.
The Bavarians remain interested and should return for the 18-year-old at the end of the season.
But, according to the German Kicker point of sale, they will face competition from the Reds who have already made contact.
