Rhian Brewster enjoys a fabulous pre-season in Liverpool and Jadon Sancho supports his good friend to make a serious impact in the coming season.
The 19-year-old has scored four goals in three friendly matches this summer, including a win over Borussia Dortmund from the penalty spot Saturday in the United States.
Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane all had the opportunity to extend their boarding breaks and grab it with both hands.
Sancho was playing for Dortmund when Brewster hit and is one of Liverpool's English teammates, the winning duo of the Under-17 World Cup together in 2017.
Now a full-fledged international international, Sancho knows the talent when he sees it and thinks Brewster owns the X-Factor.
"I feel like he can do it," Sancho said. "I played with him. I know how good he is. It causes nightmares of the defenders.
'He's a great player. I have the impression that he is in the right club, he is developing and he is still very young. It develops and it is essential. Just give it time and patience and you will see.
"I played a lot with him for England and he scored a lot of goals for us and I helped him out. It's a good thing for us to have someone like him.
"I knew the penalty was in play as soon as he put the ball in his hands. I saw him doing it all the time, in the upper corner. I just knew what was coming. He spends time after training, practicing and practicing his technique.
"I always saw him on the field. Penalties, free kicks, he took them all. "

"We have a special connection, you know?" Continued Sancho. "We went to the euros and then to the world cup.
"We are sending messages to each other and telling each other to continue and continue to believe."
Jurgen Klopp has been badociated with several forward moves this summer as a substitute for the pre-three esteemed, but Brewster hopes his pre-season form will have persuaded him not to insist on a new signing.
