The kit is a return to the band between 1982 and 1984 where the sponsor had painted the crown.

The men's band will cost you £ 60, the men's Elite shirt costs £ 95 and the women's shirt £ 60.

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who has been knee injured for almost a year, took the fans behind the scenes of the launch of the new kit.

The former Arsenal midfielder joked with Virgil van Dijk and the latter even grabbed the camera.

Chamberlain, grabbed the goal from Anfield in the video and reminded fans of his goal against Manchester City in the quarterfinals of the Champions League last year.

The Liverpool star also reminded fans that he had prepared Van Dijk for his first goal against Everton.

Chamberlain, Rhian Brewster, Van Dijk and Alexander Trent-Arnold were the guardians inside Anfield in the new band.

This will be the last kit designed by sponsor New Balance because his contract with the club will expire at the end of next season.

Liverpool is still in talks with Nike and Adidas about a new deal that would break the current Premier League record.

Sportsmail Last December, league leaders, whose current contract with New Balance, worth £ 45 million per season, expired in June 2020, left their options open to find a new supplier.

Officials at Anfield believe that they can get conditions that would exceed the £ 750 million offered by Manchester United to Adidas. The club insists however that they are not yet on the verge of reaching an agreement.

Liverpool hopes this new band will bring the kind of trophies won in the 80s, winning three league titles, two European cups, two FA Cups and four League Cups.

The Reds are not doing too badly this season as they knocked Porto out of the Champions League quarter-finals 6-1 on Wednesday night.

They also have two points ahead in the standings after playing a game more than Manchester City, second.
