Liverpool is hoping to fly Joao Pedro de Fluminense to Watford, according to reports.

Globoesporte claims that Fluminense agreed to sell last year in Watford at the age of 17, but that Liverpool has since investigated after the young Brazilian striker caught their attention.

The agreement with the Hornets is not binding because of the attacker's young age, but Watford would be compensated if the move failed.

Vicarage Road has worked well in the Brazilian market lately. Richarlison yielded £ 11.2m and was sold to Everton £ 40m the following year.

However, the report adds that a third party could contact the Brazilian side and pay the compensation in addition to its own offer to recruit the young talent.
