According to Liverpool Echo, Rafael Camacho is in contention for the Liverpool match against Leicester City on Wednesday night.

The Reds have recently suffered many defensive injuries, and the return has become a major problem for Jurgen Klopp.

Trent Alexander-Arnold and Joe Gomez are both injured, while James Milner is suspended for scoring a red card against Crystal Palace and Nathaniel Clyne was sent back to Bournemouth.

That leaves Liverpool with a lack of options on the back, and Liverpool Echo reports that it will be Fabinho or Camacho from Leicester City tomorrow night.

Fabinho could be forced to play in the center of the center with Dejan Lovren and Gomez as well as Virgil van Dijk being ill. Camacho's chances of playing are so good at the moment.

Camacho, 18, left Manchester City for Liverpool as a winger in 2016, but he's now adapted to become a right-back. He started against the Wolves in the FA Cup earlier this month.

The Portuguese talent has also made an alternate appearance against Palace and hopes to have a bright future in Anfield after the role change.

Curiously, Camacho almost left Liverpool earlier this month. The Daily Record noted that Sporting wanted to sign him again almost six years after his departure, but Klopp blocked a loan application.

Now, he may have to start Camacho at Anfield tomorrow night because of a host of injuries, in a remarkable recovery for the teenager.
