President Akufo-Addo announced on Sunday that all students from kindergarten to junior high will return to school on January 15.
Schools were closed for about ten months after the outbreak of the novel covid-19 pandemic.
However, the president in his 21st update on measures taken against the spread of the virus said: “Our children must go to school, but safely, and we are convinced that under the current circumstances, the reopening of our schools is safe. . “
