The Black Stars will face Mauritania in a friendly international match this afternoon.
The Black Stars are in action this afternoon against Mauritania at the Accra stadium.
The match comes three days after the Stars crowned their qualifying campaign for CAFA 2019 with a 1-0 win over the Harambee Stars of Kenya.
Coach Kwesi Appiah should use the match as an audition to allow some marginal players to claim the squares in the team for the AFA 2019 CAN.
The trio Kwoko Bonsu, Amos Frimpong and Felix Annan should be part of the game, while midfielder Inter Milan, Kwadwo Asamoah, is the only player not to be selected.
After a remarkable performance in his first match, Caleb Ekuban is in contention for his first start to the Black Stars, as is Alhbadan Wakaso, who happens to be the younger brother of Mubarak Wakaso.
Like Ghana, the Chinguetti Lions, the Mauritanian team is known, have also qualified for the tournament and will use this match as the first of many preparatory matches that they hope to play before the CAN.
