Chelsea has finalized the signing of Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain, on loan for the rest of the season.
The Argentinian, 31, spent the first half of the season on loan at AC Milan, scoring eight goals in 22 games.

Chelsea manager Marina Granovskaia said Higuain was the club's number one target in the January transfer slot and is coming "with a confirmed record at the highest level."

Higuain was tied to Arsenal when Juventus signed it in July 2016 for a national record of 75.3 million pounds sterling.
After scoring 40 goals in the league in two seasons, he moved to Milan in August, with the possibility to make the case permanent at the end of the season for 36 million euros.
His fate in Milan started well, with six goals in five games, but he found the net only once in his last 12 appearances.
Chelsea is currently fourth in the Premier League, with three points ahead of Arsenal who beat them 2-0 at Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
