AAfter more than 50 years, unpublished footage of the 1963 film "The Great Escape" starring Steve McQueen has been unearthed.

Backstage shows Hilts' famous motorcycle escape (played by Steve McQueen) from a prisoner of war camp in Germany.

The video was published by Tim Gibbes, now 85, who worked as a stuntman on the movie.
