Louis Tomlinson admitted that a One Direction meeting was "inevitable".

The British group, formed on The X Factor in 2010, experienced an indefinite hiatus in 2016 after world domination, but has long been the subject of rumors about when they would meet or not.

But now, Louis, who is a judge in the series where he discovered celebrity for the first time, said that "it will happen" but that it depends on the moment.

"I think it's going to happen, I would certainly have something to say about it if it was not, I think it's inevitable." That's the big question. something that none of us knows the answer at the moment, "he said.

Addressing ITN, he added, "I think the most important thing is that when we come together, we are all on the same page and we have all done what we want to do individually.

Simon Cowell recently admitted that he had left X Factor's door open for Louis' return this year to this year's series, but wanted him to focus on himself after losing his sister.

The mogul confessed that he was worried for Louis as a friend, following the death of his sister Félicité, who died as a result of a heart attack at an early age. 18 years old in March.

His death comes just two years after the death of Louis's mother, Johannah Deakin, who died in December 2016 after a fight against leukemia.

"What he went through, you do not even think about work," Simon told the Sun. "You just think of how you are going to be there for him as a friend."
