Louisa Johnson described her experience on The X Factor as "the strangest, unbelievable, crazy, crazy experience" of her "whole life".

The 21-year-old singer, who won the talent contest in 2015 at the age of 17, admitted she could not remember four months after her victory, saying it was not "well".

"From December 2015, when I won, to April 2016, I do not remember anything. Nothing, began Louisa.

"It was like my whole body was overdriven and I lived on adrenaline. I do not remember anything. I just remember that it's not so good, to be honest. "

Louisa continued to The Sun: "I had just attended this series and it was amazing. There was all this pomp and glamor. Then you go home and you work on stuff, but you go back to your mom and dad and it's just like, "Oh".

You leave exhausted and tired.

"All this time for me was the strangest, unbelievable, crazy, crazy experience to which I have ever been involved in all my life."

Louisa's comments come just a day after Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall Metro.co.uk X Factor must "do more" for mental health and subsequent care.

"I think it's a little shocking, especially for us girls, we only had 18/19 years when we got started in the industry and that's a lot to handle "she said.

"Maybe there could be a little more in place for mental health.

"We all suffered in one way. It's a difficult task, but a little more could be done about it. "
