A Ugandan man and his lover were dragged to court because they bothered others with the sound of their love.

Chacha Mwita and Cynthia Mauhokha are a couple who are currently on trial in a court in Meru, Uganda, after complaints were received that the screams of their love were causing public concern.

Another person, 27-year-old Magoola Twaha, was also charged with the two men but denied both counts.

Mwita and Mauhokha pleaded guilty to two criminal charges before a magistrate.

The court learned that on Sunday, April 14, 2019, at Makutano Imenti North, in Meru, the three men had been found in the building of a Humphrey Murithi.

Mwita, a 24-year-old businessman and Maukokha, 31, a casual worker, admitted that even though they intended to sleep together, their cries were related to a misunderstanding about 39; money.

Maukokha told the court that she was in her usual business when she and Chacha agreed on an amount, but he only gave him one part.

Knowing Mwita since December 2018, she was shouting, demanding a salary before following him.

However, the police claimed that the screams were the result of their lovemaking and accused them of pretending to be false.

The magistrate told the court that, given their explanations, he thought that they were turning their pleas into non-guilty.

The case was then adjourned for recall on May 15, 2019.
