Lowe's is firing employees from stores across the country, the Wall Street Journal reported.

"Employees who occupied these positions will receive a transition allowance and will have the opportunity to apply for vacancies at Lowe's."
According to the Journal, the roles involved include in-store bademblers and maintenance personnel.
It is unclear exactly how many employees were fired, but this number is probably in the order of thousands because the company has 1,725 ​​stores.
