Sources told ESPN FC that Inter wanted to sign a loan agreement with Lukaku with a purchase obligation while United wanted about £ 80 million before letting him go.
Lukaku was a target for Antonio Conte in Chelsea before finally moving to United in 2017 and the ex-man from Everton recently qualified the Italian as "best manager of the world".
