Luke Harper asks for his release from WWE

It comes from nowhere but is not really so shocking:

Harper spent much of his career at WWE as part of a team alongside the Wyatt family, and later with Erick Rowan. More recently, he took a long time to heal some injuries after Rowan was injured and had to do the same. His return took place at WrestleMania Axxess in a game that was close to his heart, as he explains in a long post on social networks.

He appeared in the Royal Battle of Andre the Giant Memorial Battle but was hardly introduced. At 39, there is not much time to lose to reach his career goals, so he has no choice.
