Luke Shaw gives a new blow to England by becoming the FOURTH player to retire from the team

Luke Shaw wore a new blow to Gareth Southgate after getting hurt.

The back of Manchester United, Shaw, has retired before the team shows up at St George's Park on Monday afternoon.

The boss of England, Southgate, already has Ben Chilwell and Danny Rose on the team, so he does not need a direct replacement.

But Shaw was the FOURTH player to give up today. John Stones, Fabian Delph and Ruben Loftus-Cheek also missed out on the Euro 2020 qualifiers with the Czech Republic and Montenegro.

England lacks defense against stones while Delphi was back from injury and no risk is taken.



Shaw is injured

Southampton midfielder James Ward-Prowse, 24, has already been drafted and Chelsea youth Callum Hudson-Odoi has been promoted to under-21.

Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson will remain on the team despite missing his team's victory in Fulham on Sunday with an ankle injury.

Jurgen Klopp, Liverpool boss, said: "He could not play Fulham, but it's not that bad. In three or four days, it should be fine.
