Ghana’s premium and tasty A1 cake bread has entered the US market after three years of local activity.

The Ghanaian Embassy in Washington on Friday announced that A1 bread is now available in America after successfully passing a special U.S. government program called Select US, designed to help foreign products enter the U.S. market.

“We are pleased to announce that A1, a Ghanaian indigenous breadmaking company, has expanded its business to the United States.

“This expansion into the US market is particularly unique as it is based on a special partnership agreement with a large US bread company to ensure faster scale and penetration of the US market,” the Embassy said in a statement on its Official Facebook. page.

“This initiative is part of Select USA, a US government program designed to help foreign products enter the US market.

“Last year, HE Dr. Barfuor Adjei-Barwuah visited the $ 3 million production site as well as retailers who are currently testing the A1 bread market in the tri-state region,” the embassy noted.

He added: “As an Embassy, we are particularly proud of this new Ghanaian story and of Godfried Obeng Boateng, the young CEO at the head of this initiative.
