Former deputy secretary general of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) Samuel Koku Anyidoho, who was sacked from the party, leaned heavily on former president John Dramani Mahama.
He calls the former president an opportunist who seeks to destroy the party.
The director general (CEO) of the Atta Mills institute, who took the former president to the cleaners on his Twitter account, posted that “Unlike the two NDC presidents, Mr. Mahama, did not help the NDC “.
According to him, “Jerry John Rawlings built the NDC: John Evans Atta-Mills rebuilt the NDC! A claimant ; who came from the Peoples Heritage Party (PHP), in 1996, as an opportunist to join the NDC thinks he / she can destroy the NDC? Torfiakwa… ”.
Mr Anyidoho was recently sacked from the NDC party for engaging in what the party leadership, the Functional Executive Committee (FEC) has described as anti-party behavior.
Koku Anyidoho wrote last week to party secretary general Johnson Asiedu Nketia, under whom he served, to provide him with the record of indiscipline which he says led to his expulsion from the party.
He also demanded the so-called deportation letter to “enable me to find out what further action (s) I should take”.
The letter is apparently in response to Mr. Asiedu Nketia’s expulsion letter to Mr. Anyidoho on Tuesday July 27.
In its letter, the party said Mr. Anyidoho was found guilty of “misconduct” and “anti-party behavior” by the disciplinary committee, a decision confirmed by the party’s Functional Executive Committee (FEC).
But in his letter dated Monday, August 2, 2021, the beloved boy of the late Mills admits that all communications from his former boss may refer to him without receiving official correspondence on all of the allegations.
Mr. Anyidoho insists that he has never violated the party constitution, adding that “I have no history of indiscipline according to party records”.
He then told the party that “I remain a staunch member of the Democratic National Congress”.
