He proposed that the campus be called University of Languages and Culture in order to preserve the decreasing nature of Ghanaian culture.
He also proposed that languages such as Chinese, German and Spanish, among others, could be taught at the university. Odeefo Afankwa congratulated the president for his many programs and policies of social intervention.
He noted that the President's Planting for Food and Jobs program could help the country become self-sustaining.
Odeefo Afankwa called on the president to create an agricultural college in the region because it was essentially farmers.
